MEMBERSHIP:
Lifetime Full Membership: $175
Includes a Lifetime Membership Certificate and a Uniform Patch (Certificate is 11" by 17")
Annual Membership $50 per year
Includes an annual membership certificate and a uniform patch (Certificate is 11" x 17") expires the 31st of December. Annual membership fee is due on or before December 31st.
The Victory Martial Arts International Council will validate and certify ranks various martial arts.
The applicants for rank are thoroughly examined by the Victory Martial Arts International Council Board of Directors. Dan grades are required to send a copy of all black belt certifications. A major consideration for promotion will be contributions to the martial arts, time in grade and age. This will not be waived under any circumstances.
Rank issued by well known organizations or associations will frequently be recognized by Victory Martial Arts International Council. Ranking by a school (Sensei) may require an in-person examination conducted by the V.M.A.I.C. Board of Directors.
All rank certifications must be earned by exam.
TIME IN GRADE:
Kyu (Classes below black belt): 6 to 12 months between ranks
Dan (Grades):
Shodan: 3 years in the martial arts
Nidan: 2 years as Shodan
Sandan: 3 years as Nidan
Yodan: 4 years as Sandan
Godan: 5 years as Yodan
Rokudan: 6 years as Godan
Shichidan: 7 years as Rokudan
Hachidan: 8 years as Shichidan
Kudan: 9 years as Hachidan (Grandmaster)
Judan: 10 years as Kudan (Grandmaster)
Age for Kudan: 60 years and above
Age for Judan: 65 years and above
TESTING:
A demonstration of all knowledge done statically and in practical scenarios with an opponent or opponents, forms, sparring, and weapons. Testing is Pass or Fail.
Testing may be done in person or by DVD.
All systems founded by the Victorys require in person training at the Victory School of Martial Arts, LLC. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The Victory Martial Arts International Council will only validate and certify ranks or issue rank to it's members. No exceptions.

ALL RANK CERTIFICATIONS MUST BE EARNED BY EXAM
We are not a diploma mill and it is not possible to simply buy rank, certifications, or other services without first being evaluated. The martial arts are often corrupted by this sort of thing and we wish to distance ourselves from this questionable practice.
Some may consider this verification process to be unnecessary, but nothing could be further from the truth! No legitimate martial arts association or martial arts instructor would promote or certify an individual without actually seeing them perform and we are in the very same position. If some feel this process is unwarranted, then clearly they are not the type of martial artist we, at the Victory Martial Arts International Council are looking for.
