I have spent years in the Martial Arts. I have worked personal security details and I know what works on the street from experience. In full confidence I can say the Victory School of Martial Arts, LLC, is the only school and system I would recommend, period. The style is very realistic and efficient and the techniques are very familiar to me. You will find me telling the other students this strike or that throw really will save your life, because it did for me. There are many great Martial Arts, but I feel they fail in major points. Be it they are too rigid, slow, unrealistic or sport oriented but JuJitsu in this form is not. It is honed and effective for any person of any shape or size. However a style is just that until you learn it.
The Victory School excels at being a school. The instructors are patient, supportive and most importantly understanding. Whether you are an experienced Judoka or a younger kid working on your self confidence they recognize your level and never pressure or push you more than that little nudge you need. They take the time to break down the technique so you can learn not only how to perform it but what its' doing and why it's so effective.
I had the honor of attending the Victory School two years ago. Finding it was a celebration in itself as I had visited a great many school searching for what I consider a perfect combination or style and guidance after my Instructor disappeared years ago. My name is Debbie Gryta and I "CAN NOT" express enough how being a part of The Victory School of Martial Arts has changed my life personally as well as my three children. I need to start from when I made the first initial phone call to the school back in June 2008. My son Matthew at the time was 10 1/2 years old and was asking me "why do kids pick on kids? " My response was "unfortunatley that is a part of being a kid - some kids do" . As a parent that was one of those ah-hah moments and I thought well maybe I need to do something . I was coming out of a local diner one day and noticed the schools flyer on the bulliten board. The one main quote that caught my eye was "Learn How To Defend Yourself" . I actually called from the parking to just see what they had to offer.My first impression while talking with Grandmaster Jason R. Victory -Vice President was a positive one. He listened to what it was I was looking for and he explained to me that the school gears each student towards building their own self esteem as well as their own self awareness. I enrolled my son in July 2008 and he is still currently attending classes.

In August 2008,I was made aware that they were offering a Womans Self Defense class. I thought to myself if I was ever in a situation where I had to protect myself could I really do it???? I enrolled myself and began learning different techniques as well as different types of situations where you would most likely encounter a potential confrontation. I cant explain in words how impowering that was for me . The confidence and self awareness changed how I perceived myself and the people around me. I honestly beleive EVERY woman should learn how to protect themselves .

In September 2008 I began attending their Cardio Kickboxing classes twice a week . At the time my exercise regimen involved several hours of walking daily. I was overdoing the walking and decided I needed to try a different form of exercise. I currently take 3 Cardio kickboxing classes a week - 2 in the evening and 1 in the morning . I am absolutely addicted to taking the classes. The classes are never boring and as HARD as we work we ALWAYS have a great time (don't tell Jason I said that L.O.L.).

In December 2008 I enrolled in the adult Martial Arts class. I wanted to challenge myself alot more so i transfered from the defense class to give it a try. I can honestly say that I the skills I have learned have made me even more self confident that I can protect myself if I ever needed to . It is amazing what you can do when you set your mind on something and DO IT and STICK TO IT.

I have two daughters Alyssa -9- and Amanda- 6 ( I call her my Kung-fu - Panda ) - L.O.L. !!!!! who also attend the childrens classes. They absolutely love going. The smiles on their faces makes it all worth it.

The sense of family from the people I have met here is just so overwhelming. I feel like they are my new extended family and adore them ALL . The encouragement - the sense of belonging - the amazing rapport - the life changing experience -I am speechless -----------!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our son Stephen has been going to the Victory School of Martial Arts, LLC, for a year and a half now. He started when he was four years old. They were very patient with him, but he had to follow the rules.

In that time, he has accomplished a yellow belt with purple tips. He has also become more confident and sure of himself in school and every other facet of his childhood.

My husband and I are very happy with everything that goes on in class from Martial arts to behavior.

We would highly recommend the Victory School of Martial Arts, LLC, to any child.

April 22 was a great day in GM Victory's history. I just so happened to witness a historic event in for the Victory family. GM Joseph Victory was awarded a prestigious ranking in ninjutsu by a highly qualified master, GM Lee Vineyard. This was quite a suprise for GM Victory, as he did not expect this to happen. In addition to this, I had the privilege of training on the mat with GM Victory himself. We also had the benefit of being in the company of GM Jason Victory, the son of the Victory system founder, and several highly-qualified black belts from the Victory Council. After the brief ceremony, we engaged in a top-notch exchange of ideas, a series of master classes not only with the Victorys, but with GM Vineyard himself, who gave us a sampling of his unique system of martial arts. I was honored and amazed to learn quite a bit from this gathering, and I appreciated the fact that I was able to take home an extensive amount of knowledge on combative applications that covered the whole range of striking, grappling, and other self-defense aspects. I appreciated that the group of highly qualified black belts was able to assist me in improving upon myself. What is great is that none of us cared how many stripes we each had on our belts, simply that we had great fun getting together and learning from each other as martial artists, all the way from novice to expert alike. One can easily see that the heart of a black belt is not in what he wears around his waist, but in how he conducts himself as a teacher and martial artist with his friends, family, and students, and his attitude upon taking on new ideas and always learning to improve upon himself to set a good example, as Grandmaster Joseph Victory and his martial arts family certainly do.

Since joining the Victory School almost two years ago, both my children and myself have gone through

a life altering transformation. Physically, emotionally and mentally we are more confident individuals because of it. That kind of transformation is priceless.

Victory School of Martial Arts, LLC, is a very special school. The instructors are patient, kind and understanding. They don’t push, or judge. They treat each student as an individual allowing them to learn and grow at his or her own pace.

Not only are they teaching my children martial arts, they are teaching them to be better people. My boys are taught responsibility, leadership skills, self respect, and to respect others. I have seen such great changes in both of my children since attending classes here. They are happier, healthier, and have more self confidence.

When my parents first signed me up for lessons at the Victory School of Martial Arts, LLC, I didn’t really want to go. Now I love going to classes. I’m in the car waiting for my mom when it’s time to go. We have learned exercises and how to be stronger. We learn Katas and how to protect our family. I like when we box and do one handed rolls. They taught me you have to work hard to get your belts, and you have to work hard to get anything in life. The teachers are real nice and it’s a lot of fun.

They are very nice at the Victory School of Martial Arts, LLC. It is a lot of fun, but you have to work hard. We do rolls, and punch, punch, kick. It’s real fun when we get to throw the teachers. I like that part best. If you work hard, your hard work will pay off. You will get a purple belt.
